Kittler on data and surveillance (a new translation)

At the Theory, Culture & Society open site we have just published a new translation of a piece by Friedrich Kittler. The piece was originally published in 1986 but this is the first translation into English. It focuses on questions of data and surveillance. The post includes a short introduction by Paul Feigelfeld (who translated the piece) and Jussi Parikka. There are also some links to further TCS pieces on Kittler.
