Les Back on Junior Murvin

I posted a few weeks ago about my new role as co-editor of the Theory, Culture & Society open site. The material I’ve been commissioning is now starting to filter through. We have just published a brilliant piece by Les Back on the music of Junior Murvin. The piece is a tribute to Junior Murvin, following his death late last year, and focuses in particular upon the ongoing relevance if his ‘political proverb’ Police & Thieves.
