Mike Savage on The Old New Politics of Class

Mike Savage’s inaugural lecture at the LSE is now available as audio and video. It’s on the topic of The Old New Politics of Class. In the lecture Mike talks about his work on class, and how his previous work feeds into his current research on the Great British Class Survey and the National Birth Cohort studies. There is also a really interesting and lively response from Bev Skeggs. Bev and Mike then field questions from the floor, which is well worth listening to.
