Figure/Ground have an interview with Mark Deuze. As is usual with their interviews, it covers substantive issues in Mark’s work alongside some discussions of biography and university life. This particular interview also gets into questions around interdisciplinarity. Most of the interviews in the series have been text based, but this one is available as an audio. In addition to this interview there are also some other interviews with Mark available on his university web pages. Mark’s recent book Media Life has been causing a good deal of discussion. We should have a review in Information, Communication & Society very soon.
