I’ve just received a review copy of Lisa Blackman’s new book Immaterial Bodies: Affect, Embodiment, Mediation. Which has been published in Sage’s TCS series. It looks like an important intervention in understanding the body in its mediated form. Lisa, who is slso editor of the journal Body & Society, draws in particular upon affect theory. It looks like a challenging and creative read. Here’s some further information about Lisa Blackman’s work.
