Dhiraj Murthy’s blog iSociology

Dhiraj Murthy has a blog called iSociology: sociology of new media. Dhiraj is particularly well known for a pathbreaking piece on digital ethnography that was published in the journal Sociology. He has also written a forthcoming book about Twitter. His blog contains some detailed posts on his work on social media. Here is a post containing a video of him speaking about ‘Social communication in the Twitter age‘. He speaks there about treating tweets as objects.
