Scott Lash on liquid modernity (audio)

Radio 3 have a series of short talks on Zygmunt Bauman’s concept of liquid modernity. The first features Scott Lash. Scott gives a really eloquent overview of the concept and its history and then provides a critical commentary based upon modernity and technological change. Lash’s points about identity formation and modernity are really interesting. I especially liked the section about self-organising identities connecting to self-organising machines.
