Geography blog

Stuart Elden’s blog Progressive Geographies is really good. As well as being a prolific researcher Stuart is also the editor of Society & Space, so the blog provides some really interesting insights into his research and the running of the journal. He is also working on what looks like a really important project on the Birth of Territory (information about this is on his blog).

In fact i just bought a copy of his edited book Sloterdijk Now. Peter Sloterdijk is not a writer that i know much about, so i’m going to use this to test the waters. The book is an edited collection that also includes a translated piece by Sloterdijk himself. On first inspection it looks like there might be some new ideas here to work with.
